Shoftim – Trusting the sages
Why are we enjoined to follow the words of the sages? What is the secret of why Hashem trusts them? Why are we to follow them even if they tell us something that seems to be against Hashem’s will?

It fits in beautifully with what I have said. The whole idea is that there are multiple perspectives and that 'ailu v'ailu' – both are true and an equally valid expression of the will of Hashem. As to what an individual should do, and whose opinion he should follow, one is enjoined to choose a single qualified rav and follow his halachic rulings across the board.
